Internship

EOTM Radio and Media Internship Program is an educational program designed for students interested in pursuing a career in Marketing, Journalism, Broadcasting or Public Relations.

Departments:
Students do not choose a show or department. Placement is at the sole discretion of the Coordinator. Each student is selected and assigned on a first‐come, first‐served basis. The number of positions varies for each semester.

Duties:
Assignments vary day-to-day. Interns can expect to work directly with the Street Team, Marketing Managers and Company Executives to assist with radio show scripts and show formats, research, create press releases and epk's, conduct preliminary interviews, assist with marketing and promotions, edit shows and coordinate red carpet events.

Requirements:
Students who are currently attending an accredited college and have achieved junior or senior status are eligible. Students majoring in journalism, marketing, broadcasting, public relations or communications are preferred; other majors will be considered. Participants must have good computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities and knowledge of current events. A 3.0 GPA or above is recommended. Students must be able to meet the minimum time commitment.

Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship. Students are required to provide official documentation on school letterhead confirming that they will receive credit for the internship. This documentation must be on file prior to start date.

Application Status:
Due to the high volume of applicants, the office cannot respond to application‐status inquiries. The office reviews all submitted applications and contacts qualified candidates for a phone interview.

Deadlines:
Fall and spring applicants are accepted on a rolling basis. The summer program selects and assigns students on a first-come, first-served basis; summer applications will not be accepted after Feb. 28 of each year.

Internship Locations:
Atlanta and Los Angeles
*Interns are responsible for housing & expenses.
